The Lorettes
The Lorettes Bio
Kathleen "Kat" Boyle started writing songs when she was in elementary school, playing guitar in middle school, and forming bands in high school. By her twenties, she was performing across many NYC stages in indie/garage bands. Now based in Nashville, TN, The Lorettes is Boyle's solo endeavor, named after 19th-century modern Parisian women who were often artistic muses that valued, above all, independence. When asked of her musical influences, Boyle acknowledges Elastica, The Raveonettes, The Muffs, and Kim Deal as her biggest inspirations.
Her first single “Kirk” is a straightforward, three chord, reverb-laden pop crunch about meeting the love of your life.
